I am a very big open source software and Linux advocate. What does that mean for you? It means that the software and solutions (in most part) are open source- they are not locked behind a company which means a lot more eyes are on the code which in turn improves the security. Another great benefit is that YOUR data is stored on YOUR servers (either on premise or in the cloud) without any company using it without you explicitly allowing it.
